After filling our bellies, we headed to the pier for our island/snorkeling adventure. We rented equipment and headed to Pulau Mamutik, one of several popular islands just off the coast from Kota Kinabalu.
The water and weather were spectacular!
We spent the rest of the day rotating in and out of the water with the Feists. It was one of my favorite memories from the trip, getting to hold Ricky’s hand and putter together slowly over the tropical aquarium below. There were all kinds of coral and brilliantly colored fish.
As the day was coming to a close, it began to rain, which helped encourage us to leave the beautiful island.
